Terms & Conditions

Workshops

Allocation

Places on my workshops are allocated on a first come, first serve basis on receipt of full payment.

Cancellations

If If I have received your payment and you cancel before 14 days prior to your chosen course date I do not offer a refund unless I am able to fill your place or if you can find someone to take your place.  If your place is filled, I will refund your payment fully, minus a 10% to cover administration charges. In such circumstances, I will make every reasonable effort in the time available to find someone to take your place.

If I have received your payment and you cancel within 14 days of the course date, or pay but do not attend, no refunds will be given.

In the highly unlikely event of a course or workshop being cancelled, I will endeavour to offer you an alternative date or will refund your full payment.  On cancellation of a workshop, I do not accept liability for any associated costs, i.e. accommodation or travel costs.

Accessibility

Whilst I aim to make all my courses as accessible as possible, please note that willow weaving is a physical activity and often far more strenuous than people imagine!  To gain the most out of your day, a good level of mobility as well as finger dexterity and hand strength is required.

It is your responsibility to assess your own physical health and suitability for a willow weaving course at the time of booking and on the date of your course.  Should you have any mobility, accessibility or physical health issues do please contact me prior to booking your place.

Unless stated otherwise, all my willow courses are for adults. I will however accept 15+ year olds when they are accompanied by a responsible, participating adult.

Photography & Filming

Whilst I welcome all course participants to make notes and take photographs, filming is strictly not permitted.

Commissions & Bespoke Courses

Unless otherwise agreed beforehand, on acceptance of a commission or bespoke course proposal, a deposit of 40% of the total cost is required before the commission commences or 28 days prior to the course date.

On completion of a commission or bespoke course an invoice will be issued for the remaining 60% cost. Payment is required within 14 working days, (unless specifically agreed in writing beforehand). This ensures that business costs are kept as low as possible. If payment is not received within 30 working days, at my discretion, I will levy an additional 15% interest charge to cover any additional business costs that have been incurred.

Products

Due to the use of natural materials, the colour and tone of each product may slightly vary.  The handmade nature of the item also means that size may vary by a small amount from the specified dimensions.

Lead In Times & Delivery

Due to items being made to order and their bespoke nature, on ordering your product you will receive an approximate lead in time.  Once your item is ready I will contact you with delivery details.  Delivery method may vary depending on size of product and destination of item.  Once an item has been dispatched I will inform you by email of the delivery company being used along with any tracking number. Please inform me of any special delivery instructions for your item.

Returns and Refunds

You are entitled to return your item within 14 days of delivery.  Refunds are not offered unless an item arrives damaged. If you do receive an item that is damaged then please contact daisy@vinewillowwood.co.uk within 48hours to arrange a replacement.  If you’re returning a product because it is faulty I will pay the return delivery costs.  If you return goods to me, please use an insured method of dispatch and obtain proof of posting. I cannot accept liability for returned items being lost or damaged in transit.
